Are you ready to survive in the wilderness? We've got some amazing challenges that will help you do just that! Learn how to tie knots, prepare meals using a camp fire and even learn how to use Morse code to signal for help! This action-packed week will be an awesome guide to make sure campers are ready and set to survive!

Week 2

Backyard Explorers

Jun 11-14 

 

There is so much to discover, right in our own backyard of Savannah, Georgia. We will venture around Savannah searching for Geocaches, learn how to fish, identify local wildlife and taste some local treats from the area. Did we also mention that we will hold our first all-camp sleepover?

Please note: We will be closed on Monday, June 10th for Shavuot (a festival celebrating the giving of the law - the Torah)

Week 3

Nature Unleashed

Nature can get a little crazy and unpredictable — and so can we! Join us as we make volcanoes explode, tornadoes twist and then we shake things up by making our own seismographs and terrariums. We will even get a visit from our local meteorologist who will talk about meteorology.

The Amazing Race

Pack your bags! We are going on an exotic journey with stops in Asia for sushi making, Australia for boomerang building, and Scotland for bagpipe listening! We have alot to see!

Week 5

Shipwrecked

Jul 1-5

 

Set sail with us as we explore the uncharted seas of Tybee Island. We will search for shark teeth, participate in the JEA's edition of Shark Tank, and design and captain our own boats for the 3rd Annual Cardboard Boat Regatta. We will also have our last all-camp sleepover of the summer.

 

Please note: There will be no Camp on Thursday, July 4th due to the holiday.

Week 6

Wet, Wild and Yucky

Things are about to get a little bit WET, WILD and YUCKY as our Color War Week gets an extreme makeover! From the Messy Olympics, to Fear Factor competitions and our first-ever Color War Extravaganza,we will have every camper wanting more!

Week 7

Claws, Paws and Jaws

Would you like to race against a shark? Do you want to get up close and personal with some native reptiles? Take a walk on the wild side with us as we take a look at the creatures of the Southeast. We will make treats for local animal shelters, venture out on a dolphin cruise and even get a special visit from some furry and scaly friends.

Week 8

Camp Rocks!

July 22-26

 

It's on! We saved the best for last as we say L'Hitraot to another fantastic summer. Campers will rock out as they learn the dance routines they'll perform for their families for a brand new take on our Glee Show. They will also get the opportunity to turn the treasure they find in our gold mine into fabulous prizes! If that isn't enough excitement, then see just how high you can go on the rock wall!!
