Shabbat, Havdalah and Judaic Classes
In our preschool community, Fridays are cherished as we come together to celebrate Shabbat, a time of reflection, gratitude, and connection. Through songs and dancing, the children bring in Shabbat with joy. Children eagerly anticipate the warm glow of candles being lit, the sweet melodies of songs filling the air, and the joy of sharing blessings over freshly baked challah bread.
On Mondays, we bid farewell to Shabbat with the Havdalah prayers, marking the transition into a new week with hope and renewal. Throughout our time together, Judaic classes provide a rich tapestry of learning, where children delve into the treasures of Jewish values, holidays, and traditions.
In-House Field Trips
At our preschool, we believe in bringing the wonders of the world directly to our students through engaging and educational in-house field trips. One such enriching experience is our Animal Encounters program, where we partner with organizations like the Oatland Island Education Center and the Tybee Island Marine Center to provide hands-on encounters with fascinating creatures. Through these interactive sessions, children embark on thrilling adventures, exploring the diverse ecosystems of land and sea. From meeting furry mammals and colorful birds to marveling at the beauty of marine life, each encounter sparks curiosity and awe, igniting a passion for conservation and stewardship of the natural world. These in-house field trips not only deepen children's understanding of wildlife but also foster empathy, respect, and a sense of responsibility towards all living beings.
