We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our Preschool team as an Office Coordinator, where you'll play a pivotal role in cultivating a culture of positivity and respect.
We are looking for a Preschool Office Coordinator to begin July 1, 2024. Qualified individuals should have a pleasant and positive demeanor and strong communication skills. They must be proficient in computer operations including Microsoft Office, Excel, and be able to organize multiple tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Welcoming Atmosphere: Greet children, families, educators, and visitors with enthusiasm, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment they step through our doors.
2. Administrative Excellence: Provide administrative support to the Preschool Director and Assistant Director in the marketing, recruitment, enrollment and retention of preschool children. This includes database entry, scheduling tours, maintaining children's folders and immunization forms, planning Open House events, following up with prospective parents, communicating with current parents.
3. Cultivating Positivity: Infuse our preschool environment with positivity, fostering a culture where everyone feels valued and supported.
4. Communication Champion: Serve as a liaison between parents, staff, and management,communicating effectively and responding in a timely manner.
5. Problem Solver: Approach challenges with a calm and solutions-oriented mindset, modeling resilience and problem-solving skills for our preschool community.
Qualifications and Skills required:
• College degree preferred
• Must clear a Bright from the Start background check
• High level of professionalism and positive attitude
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring that administrative tasks are
completed accurately and efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism and
discretion.
• Knowledge of and experience with computers including MS Word, Excel, Canva
