June 2nd - June 6th Scaling New Heights
Camp is all about trying new things while testing and learning your limits. With your friends cheering you on, Camp Savannah is ready to help you conquer your fears and scale to new heights whether it's from the top of our water slide or the bottom of a rockwall. Join us as we make new lasting memories and friendships in this memorable first week of camp.
June 9th - June 13th Born to be WILD
Get ready for an unforgettable adventure where the excitement of the animal kingdom awaits your camper. This week promises to be a WILD journey filled with discovery and learning as campers dive into the fascinating world of animals. From the majestic creatures that roam the earth to the tiny critters that scurry beneath our feet every day.
June 16th - June 20th The Big Dipper
Get ready for an out-of-this-world experience as culinary delights meet cosmic exploration! Imagine exploring starships and the solar eclipse while making delicious dips and licking your fingertips.
June 23rd - June 27th Color War: Wet, Wild and Yucky
A JEA Camp Savannah staple is BACK! We’re thrilled to invite campers to an action-packed lineup of crazy competitions and food challenges that will ignite your spirit of sportsmanship, or as we like to call it, Ruach Hasport! Picture yourself soaking wet from epic water balloon fights, covered in pudding from pudding pictionary and we are bringing back the Apache Relay!
June 30th - July 3rd Blowing Off Steam
Are you ready for an ACTION-PACKED week filled with ENERGY and EXCITEMENT? Join us this week as we explore creative ways to blow off some steam. Campers will have the opportunity to channel their inner adventurers by participating in funky fitness sessions, testing their need for speed and stretching the limits of their imagination.
July 7th - July 11th Shipwrecked
Ahoy Matey! Embark on an unforgettable journey to an uncharted island where kids will THRIVE and SURVIVE! Campers will unleash their imagination as they build their own cardboard boats to race, learn the art of knot tying, and master the skills of preparing delicious meals over a crackling campfire. We may have veered off course but get ready to hula through this adventurous week of survival.
July 14th - July 18th The Sweet Escape
Step into this whimsical world bursting with sugary delights and vibrant colors! Here, creativity knows no bounds as our young campers embark on a delightful journey to create sweet masterpieces and put the clues together for the sweet escape. This week-long adventure is not just a camp; it's a magical experience where every moment is a sugar-coated dream come true.
July 21st - July 25th Please Don’t Stop the Music
The music never stops at JEA Camp Savannah. Whether it’s Sister Shabbat and Sister Shalom dancing to Crazy in Love, DJ leading everyone with a camp song during morning circle or our weekly Shabbat dance party we are always moving and grooving to the best beats. We will end the week with our annual variety show and camp superlatives.
July 28th - August 1st Shalom Summer
As summer comes to a close, the FUN has only just begun at JEA Camp Savannah. We have prepared an unforgettable way to send-off the 2025 season. We are bringing back some of our favorite moments/activities of the summer. And let's not forget the surprises that will make this summer send-off truly AMAZING!
Specialty Camps
Day Trekkers (3rd - 5th graders) - July 7 - 11
Is your camper always exploring and looking for a new adventure? Do they like to try new things? This daily travel camp will be filled with lots of fun adventures- from a trip to Dave and Busters to a boat ride looking for Dolphins, your trekker is bound to have a great adventure. (Subject to minimum participation of 6 campers)
Day Trekkers Unleashed (6th - 8th graders) - June 16 - 20
Is your camper always exploring and looking for a new adventure? Do they like to try new things? This daily travel camp will be filled with lots of fun adventures- from a day trip to Charleston to an adventure in Jacksonville, you do not want to miss out! (Subject to minimum participation of 6 campers)
Chess Wizards Specialty (1st - 6th graders) July 28 - August 1
Join us this summer for tons of challenging chess lessons, exciting games, and cool prizes. You'll improve your chess skills, meet new friends, and work out your most powerful muscle - your brain! Our camps include fun team chess games (like Corner Chess), recess time (of course), snacks, tournaments, and puzzles. Each camper receives a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. We include all the materials necessary for your child to participate, but full-day kids should bring a lunch. Unleash your brain power and spend part of your vacation with Chess Wizards! (Subject to minimum participation of 14 campers)
Mini Camps
Magic Mini Camp July 14 -18 (2nd - 5th graders)
Join us for an enchanting experience where the world of illusions awaits! Under the guidance of Savannah’s very own Magic Marc, campers will master captivating card tricks and mind-boggling illusions, sprinkled with delightful surprises that will leave everyone spellbound. (Subject to minimum participation of 12 campers)
Pokémon Academy Mini Camp June 9 - 13 (2nd - 5th graders)
Throughout the week campers will learn, play and compete against each other in the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG). Each camper will be provided with the materials needed to play the game including a complete deck and card sleeves. By the end of the week, campers will have the skills and confidence to battle like a pro, make new friends and take their Pokémon journey to the next level. (Subject to minimum participation of 8 campers)
