JEA Camp Savannah 2026 Themes
Week 1 (June 1 - 5) “Going Global”
Pack your bags - we’re traveling the world without leaving camp! Each day we’ll explore different countries through games, crafts, music, food, and traditions from around the globe. Campers will discover how kids live, play, and celebrate in different places, all while earning their “passport” stamps and becoming true world explorers.
Week 2 (June 8 - 12) “Mythical Mayhem”
Dragons, unicorns, and legendary creatures—oh my! This week, imagination takes over as campers dive into magical myths and ancient legends. We’ll create our own creatures, go on heroic quests, solve riddles, and unleash a little camp-friendly chaos in a world where anything is possible and creativity rules.
Week 3 (June 15 - 19) “Claws, Paws and Jaws”
Get ready for a wildly fun week full of animals big, small, furry, and fierce! Campers will pounce into animal-themed games, crafts, silly challenges, and imaginative play inspired by creatures from land and sea. Whether you love cuddly paws, sharp claws, or toothy jaws, this week is packed with roaring laughter, nonstop fun, and lots of camp craziness!
Week 4 (June 22 - 26) “Color Wars”
It’s the ultimate camp showdown! Campers are divided into teams and compete in friendly, high-energy games, challenges, and creative competitions—all decked out in their team colors. With nonstop spirit, teamwork, chants, and epic moments, Color Wars is a week full of excitement, pride, and unforgettable camp fun.
Week 5 (June 29 - July 3) “Adventure Awaits”
Grab your gear and get ready for action! This week is all about exciting challenges, team quests, and camp adventures that keep everyone moving and laughing. Every day brings something new as campers step outside their comfort zones, try fun challenges, and discover just how awesome camp adventures can be.
Week 6 (July 6 - 10) “The Sweet Escape”
Welcome to a world of pure imagination! Campers will step through the gates into a colorful candy wonderland filled with sweet surprises, whimsical games, and over-the-top fun. From chocolatey challenges to candy-inspired creations, this week is all about escaping the ordinary and letting imaginations run wild in the most deliciously fun way possible. Expect big laughs, bright colors, and a camp experience that feels truly golden.
Week 7 (July 13 - 17) “H2 Woah!”
Get ready to splash, experiment, and cool off! This water-filled week is all about fun with H₂O—from wild water games and science experiments to teamwork challenges and creative splashes. Campers will learn just how amazing water is while staying cool, laughing hard, and getting a little (okay, very) wet.
Week 8 (July 20 - 24) “Level Up”
Game on! Camp turns into a real-life video game where campers complete challenges, earn points, and unlock new levels of fun. From teamwork games to silly competitions, everyone gets a chance to power up, try new things, and level up their camp experience.
Week 9 (July 27 - 31) “Show Up and Glow Up”
Confidence, creativity, and camp magic shine bright this week! Campers will show up as their best selves and glow up through fun activities, expressive crafts, music, and games that celebrate individuality and teamwork. Get ready for sparkle, smiles, and lots of feel-good camp vibes.
2026 JEA Camp Savannah Mini Camps
June 8 - 12 “Pokemon Academy” (2nd - 5th)
Campers will dive into the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) by learning the basics, playing games, and competing in fun, friendly battles. Designed for beginners, this camp requires no prior experience, and all materials—including a complete deck and card sleeves—are provided. By the end of the week, campers will be ready to battle with confidence, make new friends, and level up their Pokémon journey. (Minimum of 6 campers required.)
July 6 - 10 “Pokemon Masters” (3rd and Up)
At Pokémon Masters, advanced trainers take their skills to the next level! If you already know the basics of the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG), this is your chance to master deck strategies, make clutch decisions, and compete in exciting battles. Face off against other skilled players, learn powerful techniques, and sharpen your game in a fun but challenging environment. Bring your own deck and gear and get ready to prove you’ve got what it takes to become a Pokémon Master! (Minimum of 6 campers required.)
2026 JEA Camp Savannah Specialty Camps
June 15 - 19 “Day Trekkers” (3rd - 5th)
Get ready to explore and play at Day Trekkers Camp! Every day brings a new adventure as campers take exciting trips to awesome destinations like the bowling alley, arcade, water parks, and much more. If your camper loves being on the move and trying new things, Day Trekkers Camp is the place to be! (Minimum of 6 campers required.)
June 29 - July 3 “Day Trekkers Unleashed” (6th - 10th)
This week, step into adventure like never before! Paddle through rivers on kayaks, soar above the treetops on zip lines, hit high scores at Topgolf, and dive into a lineup of thrilling activities every single day. Day Trekkers unleashed is where epic memories are made, challenges turn into triumphs, and summer becomes unforgettable. (Minimum of 6 campers required.)
July 20 - 24 “Artrageous Adventures” (3rd - 5th)
Where creativity goes on the move! Campers will go on a daily journey of creativity! From hands-on workshops to museum visits and local art hotspots, each day is a new chance to explore, create, and be inspired. (Minimum of 6 campers required.)
July 28 - August 1 “Chess Wizards” (1st - 6th)
Join us this week for exciting chess lessons, fun games, and cool prizes! Power up your brain, make new friends, and compete in tournaments, team chess games, and puzzles with plenty of recess time too. Every camper gets a T-shirt, trophy, and puzzle folder. Get ready to make your summer a checkmate! (Minimum of 6 campers required.)
