JEA Camp Savannah

JEA Camp Savannah is open to everyone entering grades K-10th grade.

We are a diverse day camp that embraces Jewish values to help build children’s confidence, create long-lasting friendships and develop a strong sense of community…one camper at a time.

Why JEA Camp Savannah R.O.C.K.S.

We strive to provide campers with a nurturing experience that will help promote social, emotional and intellectual development. Our diverse specialty programs teach universal values that will encourage campers to explore aspects of Jewish traditions while remaining culturally sensitive to others. We give campers the opportunity to establish their role in the community through a variety of service learning projects and provide a positive atmosphere that is fundamentally focused on creating lasting relationships with others.

While there are numerous Jewish/Universal values, JEA Camp Savannah will be focusing on the following values this summer:

R
uach (spirit)
O
pen-mindedness
C
hesed (kindness)
K
ehillah (community)
S
portsmanship

These values will be infused into everyday life at camp. Every Friday morning, the camp gathers together for a camp-wide Shabbat (Jewish Sabbath) Celebration to culminate the end of a busy and exciting week. A hot lunch will be provided each Friday for campers.
