Canvas Chats Presents:

COLOR ME INSPIRED

The exhibition illustrates the idea of inspiring the next creative individual to impact their community in a positive way. Nae’Keisha C. Jones, the founder and creator of Canvas Chats, wanted to curate a place that breeds inspiration, challenging creatives of any age to create pieces of various art forms that reflect uplifting their communities. She has included an interactive element this time around and collaborated with the staff and kids of the JEA family to showcase their creations alongside hers.

The public can also join the “Color Me Inspired Challenge” to showcase their own creations virtually from the opening reception until the end of the month via Instagram by tagging her naekeisha.jones using the hashtags #canvas chats and #color me inspired.

If you’d like to donate to “Color Me Inspired Challenge,” there will be two bins set up during the exhibition: one for mini canvases (6 x 6 inches to 8 x 10 inches) and a pack of paint brushes; and a separate bin for canned goods and non-perishable food. How will YOU answer the call to inspire?

Canvas Chats Presents: Color Me Inspired” is Nae’Keisha’s largest solo show to date featuring at least 30 pieces honoring Black History Month. Among the work, her newest venture of a limited-edition home decor collection will make its official debut.
