Sean Grenville Temple Emmet IV

(Sean) Grenville T. Emmet IV was born in Hartford Connecticut and raised in New York City. He went to Canterbury boarding school in New Milford Connecticut. His family moved to Leesburg Virginia while attending Canterbury. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville Virginia. Sean lived in Savannah, Georgia, for eighteen years before moving to Fernandina Beach, Florida, in 2021. This is Sean’s second exhibit at the JEA’s gallery. His first photography showing displayed the United States and European nature settings, cemeteries and municipalities. The upcoming showing focuses on subjects of this Country’s natural settings and towns. Of special note in the exhibit are photographs from New Mexico’s Brushy Mountain and the nearby ghost town of Mogollon. Another is Sedona, Arizona. The town is surrounded with highly-colored, picturesque red rock cliffs and buttes. They are considered vortexes with healing elements.
